About the Cookbook
The Daylife Cookbook is a collection of recipes to help you bootstrap applications that use the Daylife platform (DayPI).
These recipes come from Daylifers and the cookbook community, with entries ranging from sample code to tutorials, half baked ideas, and spotlights of the latest deployments of the DayPI.

Awsy: An all-in-one search engine
Awsy is an all-in-one search engine that let you search information from different sources and content types that includes (web search, news, videos and images). Plus, Awsy has additional features such as get related topics from a search, spelling suggestion and preview the content without leaving the page. Awsy is powered by Truveo, Daylife and Yahoo BOSS APIs.
How use it?
1 . Go to the following URL:
http://pujaplicaciones.javeriana.edu.co/awsy
2. When the page is loaded you’ll see text field to enter the keywords that you want to search and a list of checkboxes to select the content that you what to get.
3. After you enter your keywords, just click in the “Search” button, and you’ll be redirected to a webpage that has your search results.

Each time that you perform a search, you’ll receive in the right side a list of topics related to your keywords, in order to help you to specify your query:
Results Preview:
You can also preview the results from your search without leaving Awsy, to view the preview on any result; just do click over the result’s image. Be aware that if you make click over the result title, you’ll be redirected to the result.
Spelling suggestion:
Awsy also gives you spelling suggestion if there is any error in your keywords.
