About the Cookbook
The Daylife Cookbook is a collection of recipes to help you bootstrap applications that use the Daylife platform (DayPI).
These recipes come from Daylifers and the cookbook community, with entries ranging from sample code to tutorials, half baked ideas, and spotlights of the latest deployments of the DayPI.

The DayPI provides programmers with a web accessible interface to Daylife’s news aggregation and analysis service. By using the DayPI, developers can ask rich questions about the news, and retrieve data that will allow them to build applications around the answers to those questions.
This documentation covers DayPI version 4.6.

- Core Reference details the methods available in the DayPI, the mechanics of calling those methods, and the data those methods return.
- Appendices give greater detail on the DayPI, discussing search syntax, scores, error codes, and the like.
